Jake Owen Named On Nashville Lifestyles' Hot List

Nashville, TN. (Top40 Charts/ RCA Nashville Records) - RCA Nashville recording artist Jake Owen was named "up-and-coming artist" on Nashville Lifestyles' Hot List, featured in the August issue. Owen, who released his debut album, Startin' With Me, two years ago, has achieved many career highlights in a short period including three consecutive hit singles, multiple tours with the biggest names in country music, performing at the 2008 CRS New Faces Show and a recent Academy of Country Music (ACM) nomination for Top New Male Vocalist. As Nashville Lifestyles points out, "...it's getting harder and harder to ignore the inevitability of Owen hitting it big, and soon." Later this month, Jake will release a new single, "Don't Think I Can't Love You," from his upcoming sophomore album.

Owen penned or co-penned all of the songs on his debut album including his three hits - the Top 10 "Startin' With Me" and the Top 15 hits "Yee Haw" and "Something About A Woman." Jake continues to showcase his songwriting talents with his new single, "Don't Think I Can't Love You," which he co-wrote with Kendal Marvel and Jimmy Ritchey.
