NASHVILLE, TN. (Webster PR) - Ray Price, Country Music Hall of Famer and 2004 ACM Pioneer Award recipient, has always been a hard-working entertainer and now in his late-70's, Price feels like a new man. 'Price did not have to have heart surgery. After doing a cardiogram, doctors found that there was 1 inches of blockage to the hearts main artery, but they quickly opened the clogged artery with a balloon and a stint,' says Price's publicist Kirt Webster. 'Doctors are optimistic that they fully took care of the problem and that Price will soon be fully recovered.' 'Ray was in great spirits and even commented that he feels like a new man,' says Price's booking agent Bobby Roberts, who spoke to Price this morning. 'The first thing he asked me was how much time he'd have to take off and when he could get back to entertaining his fans.' If everything goes according to planned, Ray will be hitting the road again to not only continue his tour, but also to reschedule the dates that he will miss in the next three weeks.
