NASHVILLE, TN (AristoMedia/ www.aristomedia.com) - Country artist John Stone will perform songs from his debut album Meet John Stone with America's favorite "Redneck Woman" Gretchen Wilson on Thursday, Oct. 7 at the Verizon Wireless Music Center with gates opening at 5:30 p.m.

Already pulling in tightly packed crowds every Friday night at World Famous Tootsie's Orchid Lounge, Stone has made a name for himself as one of Music City's greatest up and coming live performers.

A top 25 finalist of the USA Networks hit series, Nashville Star, Stone returned to his hometown of Ft. Payne, Alabama to start seriously pursing his career. An entertainer at heart, Stone started playing once a week at Tootsies' front bar stage. Because of the massive crowds Stone started bringing in on a weekly basis, Tootsies' Entertainment Director John Taylor knew he would be a perfect artist to represent the newly formed Tootsies Records.
"We hadn't seen an entertainer come through Tootsies with this much potential to become a star since Terri Clark or Montgomery Gentry," Taylor said.
Tickets to the show are available at all Ticketmaster locations or online at www.cc.com.

Stone's self-penned "Shame on Me" is the first single off his much anticipated debut album Meet John Stone slated for release on Sept. 28 (Tootsies Records).
