Roots Music Highlights.
Hill Country Live - the home of roots, alt-country, and Americana music in Manhattan, DC, and Brooklyn - will present four nights of official SXSW showcases at Austin's Saxon Pub this year. The run doubles their two shows at last year's SXSW, and continues their recent expansion with the opening of their third music venue on the mezzanine at Hill Country Barbeque Market, located in Downtown Brooklyn. The lineups mix established Americana forbearers like Dale Watson and Asleep at the Wheel's Ray Benson with a younger generation of roots music breakouts like John Fullbright and Parker Millsap.
SXSW badges will be honored and tickets will be available at the door. Full schedules below.
