John Nemeth Tours With Bo-Keys, Junior Watson; 'Memphis Grease' Out March 25, 2014
New York, NY (Top40 Charts/ Shore Fire Media) Behind the release of his new album 'Memphis Grease,' out 3/25 via Blue Corn Music, soul man John Németh will embark on a lengthy US tour, performing select dates with veteran Memphis group The Bo-Keys (Al Green, O.V. Wright, Rufus Thomas) featuring Percy Wiggins and others with Junior Watson (Canned Heat, Jimmie Rogers, Charile Musselwhite).

'Memphis Grease' is slathered with fatback soul and blues done the Memphis way: tight horn lines, whirling organ with John's soaring voice and wicked harp playing. Born to Hungarian immigrants in Idaho, John got his start singing for Catholic luncheons and made a living as a truck driver, where he honed his harp skills on the open road. For this album, he relocated his family from Oakland to Memphis to record with Scott Bomar, who composed the film scores for 'Hustle & Flow' and 'Black Snake Moan' and produced Cyndi Lauper's 'Memphis Blues.'

Esquire premiered 'Memphis Grease' standout "Sooner or Later" earlier this month, saying "There aren't too many soul men left in the world, but John Németh is one of em":
