NASHVILLE, TN. (Webster PR) - As part of his media schedule, Mark visited with XM's Shannon McCombs. Mark's new album, SAVIN' THE HONKY TONK, was featured as a live World Premiere on XM 10 America. The show will re-air four additional times on Shannon's New Music Round-up beginning Friday, September 17 and will run through Wednesday, September 22 (Friday 9/17 @ 12:00PM ET / Saturday 9/18 @ midnight ET / Monday 9/20 @ 5AM ET / Wednesday 9/22 @ 7PM ET)

Mark also some spent time with Charlie Monk to introduce his new project to Sirius listeners. Sirius Satellite Radio will feature the interview and several cuts from the album on it's official release date, September 21, on Prime Country (Sirius Channel 32) @ 9:00 AM Eastern. The show will re-air on Saturday, September 25 at 6:00PM ET as well as on the New Country Show on Sunday, September 26 @ noon (Sirius Channel 31).

Before jumping back on the bus to travel to a show in San Antonio, Mark made an impromptu appearance at Nashville's Country radio station WKDF-FM where hosts Kim and Dean where conducting a listener call-in auction to raise monies for the benefit of the Salvation Army and Red Cross to aid the Florida Hurricane Victims. Mark stepped forward to offer an advance copy of his new CD SAVIN' THE HONKY TONK. The previous auction item (an entire catalog of George Strait CD's—and an autographed box set—25 CD's total) brought a whopping $1,000. 'It didn't seem like much at the time - and a package of 25 George Strait CD's is a tough act to follow. But, I thought what the heck; some lucky bidder can get an advance copy of my new album before any other listener can purchase it.'

Mark's new album (SAVIN' THE HONKY TONK—Vivaton Records), brought in a top bid of $1,000. Mark was so bowled over in the bid the item brought that he threw in a personal lunch with the winning bidder. 'One advance copy of my CD and lunch --$1,000. One advance copy of my CD ($1,000), verses a whole sh_ _ load of George Strait CD's at $1,000 – PRICELESS!' Grins Mark. 'I'm glad I could help out!'

Mark's current single 'The Lord Loves The Drinkin' Man' is heading up the charts; currently at No. 41 on R&R, No. 40 on the Billboard Chart and No. 28 on Music Row. Mark recently launched his new web site dedicated to Savin' the Honky Tonk which features the entire album and special contests and promotions. The Lasso Las Vegas Contest will send a lucky grand prize winner (and their guest) to Las Vegas in December to honky tonk with Mark in person in Sin City.
Twenty-five secondary prizes will also be awarded/twenty-five personally autographed Milano cowboy hats.
