Just last week, Beautiful Africa , which has been on the No. 1 spot on the CMJ New World Chart for five weeks running now, was revealed to be among the Best Albums of 2013 according to Songlines magazine, which also recently named Traoré to its Top Five Live list. "This year has been an incredibly rich, diverse and exciting one for new releases both within world, roots and folk music," said the magazine in announcing its top picks.
