After Popular Demand "The Vinyls" Unleash Their Melodic And Catchy New Single In A "Hurry" To Promote Their Upcoming UK Tour!
New York, NY (Top40 Charts/ Matchbox Recordings) The Vinyls first gig was headlining popular venue 'Concorde2' in Brighton. Since then they have played in excess of 100 gigs around the South-East. They have become a regular booking at established venues including The Hope And Anchor in Islington, The Dublin Castle in Camden, The Bullingdon Arms in Oxford and The Swindon Bowl. In late 2012 they were handpicked to play one of the headline slots at Grendon Festival. Their performance in front of 2500 festival goers was a career highlight.

The Vinyls -
'We supported Bonehead from Oasis' new band Parlour Flames in May. He had a lot of good things to say about us, in particular he loved our Charisma!'

The Vinyls recorded 'Catch' in the June of 2012. Originally intended as a record of the songs built into their live repertoire and as a promotional album, the album went on sale via iTunes and through postal sales and sold many copies though their dedicated Indie loving fan-base. The success of the album brought thousands of new fans to their YouTube channel, and a popular song from the album, 'The Mockney Swing' to date has received over 60 000 views. The Vinyls YouTube channel total views stand at over 160 000.

The Vinyls went back into the studio in early 2013 to work on two new singles, working with Kenny Jones at Alchemy Studios. 'Victoria' was released in March 2013, sent out to industry professionals across the country, and came back with positive reviews. The song was featured in Source magazine and an accompanying film was directed by the band that to date has had 16 000 views on YouTube.

The melodic, uplifting, catchy and Indie poptastic 'Hurry' is the fantastic brand new single from The Vinyls and after striking a deal with Matchbox Recordings it will be released worldwide on 18 December 2013 with distribution assistance from Universal Music Operations.
