NASHVILLE, TN. (Webster PR) - Mark Kemp (former editor at Rolling Stone magazine) recently published 'Dixie Lullaby', a book that discusses southern rock and racism, and Richard Young of the Kentucky HeadHunters was interviewed extensively for some of the stories.
Richard says, 'When we were kids, racism in the south was very prevalent in our society. When southern rock came about, after Martin Luther King died, southern rock gave people from the south something else to talk about.'
Be sure to check out 'Dixie Lullaby' for more from Richard and how his rearing molded his views and interpretations on the controversial subject. For more details on the book and other Kentucky HeadHunters news, visit www.kentuckyheadhunters.com.
