Big & Rich: CMA Nominations and Chevy Rock & Roll 400

NASHVILLE, TN. (Warner) - Well let's kick this off with a big-fat CONGRATULATIONS to Big & Rich on their CMA Award Nominations for Best Duo of the Year, the Horizon Award, and John Rich picked up a nomination for Song of the Year for his work with Gretchen Wilson on "Redneck Woman." A huge achievement and we wish them the best of luck! CMA Award Show will air November 9th at 8 PM/ET on CBS.
But before the CMA's... Big & Rich will perform at the Chevy Rock & Roll 400 weekend, scheduled for September 9 -11 at Richmond International Raceway. Big & Rich will perform prior to the Emerson Radio 250 NASCAR Busch Series race on Friday, September 10th. The FREE show will start at 5:00 p.m. at the 10,000 seat amphitheater located outside of Turn One at the raceway. Gates to the amphitheater open at 3:30. Seating is limited so fans MUST stop by the Chevy Fan Fest on Thursday, Sept. 9 or Friday, Sept. 10 to obtain FREE credentials for the concert.

Then on Saturday, fans of the band will be able see Jeff Burton's America Online sponsored Richard Childress Racing Chevrolet Monte Carlo racecar emblazoned with a special Big & Rich paint scheme, take to the track. It's the perfect opportunity for a Big & Rich fan (who may not know too much about the sport) to jump right in and start rooting for a favorite. The band is taking time from their coast-to-coast North American tour to appear, and it's sure to offer some special surprises!
