Guitar Prodigy Opens For Joe Bonamassa
Los Angeles, CA (Top40 Charts / J&R Adventures) Internationally renowned guitar superstar Joe Bonamassa will kick off his U.S. Fall Tour on November 2 with a brand new show for his fans offering two entirely new and exciting band line-ups with Bonamassa essentially opening for himself. The opening set will feature Bonamassa alongside the world music acoustic band from his #1 Billboard acoustic CD and DVD, An Acoustic Evening At The Vienna Opera House (J&R Adventures).  Playing an assortment of rare, vintage, organic and "oddball" instruments, the performers include Gerry O'Connor, Mats Wester, and Lenny Castro who will run through an hour of the signature acoustic performance from Bonamassa's Vienna show, treating the audience to a gorgeously textured "unplugged" experience.  Bonamassa will then shift into electric mode for the second half of the show featuring his regular touring band: Carmine Rojas (bass), Tal Bergman (drums), and new touring keyboardist (and fellow Black Country Communion member) Derek Sherinian. For tickets and tour schedule, visit www.jbonamassa.com.

Alongside this tour, Bonamassa is releasing Tour De Force - Live In London (J&R Adventures) on October 29, an unprecedented live concert event unfolding over four DVDs or Blu-rays recorded earlier this year at some of the most famous and iconic London venues which he has previously played, from the smallest on up: The Borderline, Shepherd's Bush Empire, Hammersmith Apollo, and Royal Albert Hall. Each individual evening is marked by a unique theme with different setlists, arrangements and ensembles, giving the viewer four unique performances. Each night features a different selection of songs - over 60 in total and some having never been performed live before - from his extensive career.  The end result more than lives up to its billing as "The Guitar Event of The Year" and sees Bonamassa reliving, revisiting and redefining the many phases and pivotal moments throughout his career over the course of four evenings, delivering a once-in-a-lifetime performance that more than serves as an appropriate career-retrospective for an artist who has already achieved so much.

All four DVDs or Blu-rays are available for pre-order here: www.jbonamassa.com/tour-de-force.  Watch the official Tour De Force - Live In London EPK here: https://bit.ly/TourDeForceEPK.  Also, download the new free MP3 of "I Know Where I Belong" here: https://bit.ly/TDFfreesong.

A selection of songs from each of the four discs will be tailored into a 90 minute show that will premiere on Viacom Media Networks' high-definition music channel Palladia HD on Friday, October 25. Public Television will begin airing it as part of its special programming in the spring.

Bonamassa also recently launched, alongside co-host Matt Abramovitz (formerly of Sirius Satellite Radio's blues channel), a brand new weekly radio show called The Pickup - an entirely unique and highly entertaining show blending music history, carefully curated songs, an encyclopedic knowledge of guitar facts, and illuminating insights into the world of a musician. A new show is streamed every Friday at www.thepickupradio.com; episodes will be available to stream anytime.
