August 4 - Jimmy LaFave - Jimmy LaFave has graced the stage everywhere from Austin City Limits to the annual Woody Guthrie Folk Festival, of which he is an organizer. Dave Marsh said he "is re-defining roots music."

August 17 - The Red Dirt Rangers - This summer, Oklahoma's favorite sons the Red Dirt Rangers celebrate their 25th anniversary. Their brand new album 'Lone Chimney' features songs penned with the late Bob Childers just before he passed, and the Daily Oklahoman called it one of the best of their career.

August 18th - The California Honeydrops - The LA Times said, "Though from Oakland, their Southern-fried jazz is so authentic that [audiences] may wonder whether they've been transported to the Big Easy."
