Nicollette, The Next Pop Princess!
New York, NY (Top40 Charts/ Bullz Eye Entertainment) The serene sound of music can capture our every emotion through soul-stirring passion and hypnotizing harmonies. From the lumbering low points in all of our lives to the joyous, spirit-filled highs, only a select few artists can effortlessly create the living soundtrack that speaks to our myriad of emotions.

Twenty-three-year-old pop princess Nicollette is one of those exceptional artists who can do just that. Using her powerful yet angelic voice, energetic pop production and universal appeal, this blue-eyed, blonde bombshell ignited a cult-like online following to empower young women with good music and prove that girls indeed just want to have fun.

With an assortment of infectious upbeat singles boasting an eclectic blend of infectious beats, driving choruses and Nicollette's soothing soprano coupled with an alluring attitude, she is quickly becoming one of the most recognizable voices in popular music.

And with her forthcoming singles "Crawl" and "Screwed," Nicollette is well on her way to the top of the charts! The bubbly, up-tempo "Crawl" is produced by much-celebrated musical genius Peter Zizzo and showcases Nicollettes' wide range of vocal talents.

On "Screwed," featuring Heather Holly, Nicollette proves her staying power in popular music. In addition, she is readying the release of her music video "I'm Not An Angel."

If that were not enough, Nicollette currently became the fresh, new face of New York-based clothing line Mixology.

"Young kids are drawn to me because I'm confident, yet approachable, and I lead by example," says Nicollette. "I have always noticed that young kids emulate what I do. So I have a responsibility to be a positive role model."

Born Nicollette Varanelli and raised in the sleepy town of Westchester, New York (some 20 minutes away from the Big Apple), this star in the making has been obsessed with the art of sound from as far back as she can remember. Her parents would always have the sensual sounds of Mariah Carey, Celine Dion and Whitney Houston playing in the home as she was growing up. And the youngster caught the entertainment bug early.

Singing, entertaining and writing songs since the tender age of five, young Nicollette would perform at any opportunity that she could. By the time she reached elementary school, she would stage her own plays and make all of her family and friends watch as she performed in front of them.

"I must have driven everyone around me crazy!" she remembers. "I love being in front of people or a camera; I love having the attention be on me."

She groomed her talents throughout formative years in school choir and plays. Her first time ever performing in front of a real crowd, however, was at age 10 when she performed "Tomorrow" from Annie in a school talent show. Wearing a bright red wig and dressed in ragged clothes like the famous orphan in the stage play, she brought down the house- winning first place. And by her middle school years, she was even selected to sing the National Anthem before every football game.

Judging by the crowd's reactions at the events, Nicollette's father knew that his little girl had the talent, drive and determination to succeed in music. So he booked studio time, hired a vocal coach and sought out some of the best producers that they could find. The result was Nicollette's awe-inspiring demo CD. She was only 14.

"Every day after school, I would rush home and do something pertaining to my music," she recalls. "I was either in the studio or traveling to New York with my dad for singing lessons or writing music. Every day was different."

Then the following year, she released her second CD, a seven-song EP entitled Free Myself. She sold downloads of the songs to more than 160,000 "friends" on her MySpace.com fan page and gave away all proceeds from sales to St. Jude's Children's Hospital.

"I would sit at my computer for hours reading mail and I would write everyone back who wrote me," she remembers. "I really love my fans, they are the best, and they're support means everything to me."

Since then, she has been perfecting her craft working alongside incredibly talented producers such as Roc City, Verse Simmons, The Soul Diggaz and Multiman.

Continuing to use the World Wide Web to her advantage, Nicollette's fan base grows even further with her highly popular YouTube.com channel NicolletteSings. Packed with show-stopping performances and simmering singles, Nicollette has garnered fans that range from young girls to grown women.

"People tell me that they can relate to my music, especially relationships that girls go through," she says. "Listening to my music, they can feel good about themselves, learn from my experiences and not feel like victims."

On her forthcoming singles "Crawl" and "Screwed," Nicollette proves why she is the next pop superstar in the making. With natural talents, impeccable work ethic and the tools to excel in everything that she strives to accomplish, Nicollette refuses to let anything stand in her way.

"Music helps people get through things, a relationships or whatever they're feeling," says Nicollette. "Girls have thanked me for writing songs that help them not feel like a victim, have confidence, and feel good about themselves. My music can help them do that and be who they want to be." She is working on releasing her latest single "Detox" which is predicted to be a huge club bangar!
