Mingus & MJ Mix At Lincoln Center With No BS! Brass
New York, NY (Top40 Charts/ Shore Fire Media) No BS! Brass Band, co-founded by Bon Iver trombonist Reggie Pace and featuring first-call horn players who perform with everyone from Feist and Sharon Van Etten to the Wailers and Gladys Knight, will make their Lincoln Center debut August 8 as part of the free Lincoln Center Out of Doors series on the plaza.
The band's beloved for their "part football-game halftime slot, part sweaty punk show" (Time Out NY) delivery, a testament to their firm beliefs that jazz is for dancing, and pop songs sound best with brass. Expect to hear Mingus and Michael Jackson side by side.

Check out their "hot, irrepressible blast of brass and canyon-like grooves" via SPIN, and let me know if you still need music: https://www.spin.com/articles/no-bs-brass-band-rva-all-day-reggie-pace-bon-iver-sharon-van-etten-richmond-virginia/
