WHITE PLAINS, N.Y. (AP) - Soprano Renee Fleming posted a $1,000 reward Saturday for a misplaced garment bag containing two custom-made designer gowns.

The singer accidentally left the bag at the Westchester County Airport before boarding a flight to Chicago on Friday, said Magda Krance, publicist for the Lyric Opera of Chicago.

Fleming was scheduled to perform Saturday evening in Chicago at a free concert in Grant Park. On Sept. 22, she will perform as Desdemona in "Otello'' for the opening of the 47th season at the Lyric.

The evening gowns were designed by Gianfranco Ferre.
