"Thank A Farmer" Singer, James Wesley, To Headline 2013 Got Heart, Give Hope Gala
Washington, DC (Top40 Charts/ Hope For The Warriors) Country singer James Wesley will join Hope For The Warriors (https://www.hopeforthewarriors.org) to honor combat wounded service members, their families, and families of the fallen at the Got Heart, Give Hope Gala on Wednesday, April 17, 2013. The black-tie event will be held at The Andrew W. Mellon Auditorium in Washington, D.C and feature Wesley as the headlining musical guest. Hope For The Warriors is a national nonprofit organization that assists combat wounded service members, their families, and families of the fallen.

Wesley's newest single, Thank A Farmer, is quickly climbing the charts. His earlier release, Didn't I, remained #1 on the GAC Top 20 for two consecutive weeks. Wesley performed at last year's Got Heart, Give Hope® Gala and other fundraising events. Wesley is heavily devoted to supporting service members and military families.

"I feel very fortunate to be asked back to perform for the Got Heart, Give Hope® Gala," Wesley said. "Last year was an incredible experience for me to witness first-hand the resilience and strength of our men and women that serve this great country."

Film actor, Gary Sinise will again be hosting the Gala this year. Sinise is a member of the nonprofit's advisory council and the founder of the Gary Sinise Foundation. Hope For The Warriors® is one of the foundation's charity partners.

"The courage and perseverance displayed by our servicemen and women during difficult times is a constant inspiration. I am thankful for their shining example of service above self," Sinise said. "It will be my humble privilege to honor some of our nation's bravest patriots at this year's Got Heart, Give Hope® Gala."

The Hope & Courage Awards will be presented to representatives from each branch of the military, in addition to family members of wounded and fallen service members. Hope For The Warriors® will honor the courage of each award recipient, focusing on the hope they inspire through their remarkable stories of recovery and achievement.
