NASHVILLE, TN. (Infinity Records/ www.BradJohner.com) - Infinity Records Nashville has set a release date for the first CD from Canadian country music artist Brad Johner. The album's first single, "Free," will be released to radio stations in September and the album, also named "Free," will be in stores in November. The video for the single will be released in September to Country Music Television (CMT), Great American Country (GAC) and more than 55 other video outlets across the United States. Infinity Records Nashville is a unit of Infinity Music Corp.
"Our plans are to bring Johner's phenomenal success to the U.S. country music market with a full promotional push behind the single and CD releases," said George Collier, president of Infinity Records Nashville. "Marketing plans include radio promotion, video promotion, e-commerce promotion and full retail marketing. We're also looking forward to Brad touring across the country and bringing his incredible musical style to U.S. audiences."

Johner is one of the most recognizable figures in Canadian country music. Along with his brother, Ken, Johner formed one of the most successful country music duos to ever hit Canada.
During the '90s, the Johner Brothers released four albums which yielded more than two dozen singles to radio, many of which captured Top 20 status. The success resulted in considerable national attention, including three Juno nominations and two awards from the Canadian Country Music Association (CCMA), while the group earned three dozen Saskatchewan Country Music Association (SCMA) awards, including being named Entertainers of the Decade.

Following up on this phenomenal success, Johner has developed a solo career that has him back on top of the Canadian country music scene. A critically acclaimed debut solo album, along with top charting songs and videos, has led to early recognition for Johner, including a 2004 Juno nomination, 2003 Western Canadian Music Award for Outstanding Country Album, and 2003 CCMA nominations for Album of the Year and Society of Composers, Authors and Music Publishers of Canada (SOCAN) Song of the Year.
Infinity Records Nashville is distributed by Navarre Corp. (www.navarre.com).
