Hill Country Live Confirms Two SXSW Showcases March 12 And March 13
LOS ANGELES (Top40 Charts/ Earshot Media) Tuesday's "Fam Jam" Features Butch Hancock, Jimmie Dale Gilmore, Terry Allen & Their Kids; Wednesday's "Roadhouse Romp" Features Sons of Fathers, Cody Canada & the Departed, Bobby Bare Jr., and More

Hill Country Live - the NYC and DC venues home to the best in Americana, alt-country and roots music - will present two official SXSW showcases at Saxon Pub on Tuesday March 12 and Wednesday March 13. SXSW badges will be honored and tickets will be available at the door. Full schedules below.

March 12 - Tuesday's "Fam Jam" showcase features a line-up of musically paired relatives, bringing together siblings, fathers, sons, and daughters, for one special evening. Leading the show are two Flatlanders: Butch Hancock and his son Rory and Jimmie Dale Gilmore and his son Colin, followed by Jon Dee Graham & William; Kevin, Dustin & Savannah Welch; Terry, Bukka & Bale Allen; and Willy, Cody, Gary & Micky Braun.

March 13 - Wednesday's "Roadhouse Romp" night showcase features full bands, with Bobby Bare Jr., Cody Canada & the Departed, American Aquarium, Sons of Fathers, the Howling Brothers, and the Troubadour Kings playing some of their first shows of the week.

These two events bring it all back home for the Austin-inspired NYC and DC music venues. Dan Rather recently called Hill Country Live "as close to a genuine Texas venue as can be found in these parts" and Billboard hailed the NYC location as "one the best Americana music clubs New York has seen since the heyday of the Lone Star Roadhouse."
