Roy Solis Nominated For Best New Male Vocalist In Texas Regional Radio Music Awards!
Fort Worth, TX (Top40 Charts) Roy Solis kicked off 2013 with some unexpected good news. He received a nomination for New Male Vocalist in the first round of voting for the Texas Regional Radio Music Awards. Solis was truly excited when he heard the news. "I'm overwhelmed and thrilled to be a nominee with all the tough competition in the Texas Music scene, laughs Roy. I certainly wasn't expecting it and am grateful to my fans, my peers and radio for this honor. This is a really great way to start the New Year!"

The 3rd Annual 2013 Texas Regional Radio Music Awards Show will be held on April 21, 2013 at the historic Arlington Music Hall in Arlington, TX. The recently renovated Arlington Music Hall's 1,100-seat auditorium includes state-of-the-art sound and lighting, and an expanded stage.

Voting for the next round of Texas Regional Radio Music Awards nominees is now open and will continue through February 4th. Industry professionals as well as fans can cast their vote by visiting www.trrma.net. Tickets are on sale now.

Following the success of his first two singles, "Tailgate Party" and "Corpus Christi," Solis has hit the road touring the Lone Star state in support of his latest release, "Sippin' On A Six-Pack" produced by fellow Weslaco native, Johnny Garcia. Solis recently appeared in Las Vegas on Fremont Street during the National Rodeo Finals celebration and is planning to release a new single for spring. When he's not on the road you can frequently catch him playing at the Hidalgo Country Club in Weslaco.
