New York, NY (Top40 Charts) Darwin Deez has today premiered the Billy remix of his new single "Free" on Brooklyn Vegan.
East London's Billy turns it out like Darwin's been hangin' at the after-party in cahoots with both Solange Knowles and LCD Soundsystem - whilst managing to bring out the intimate narrative of "Free". It's beautiful.
"Free" is but the first, scintillating, teaser from Darwin's forthcoming sophomore album Songs For Imaginative People, which is to be released February 11 on Lucky Number. The record sees Darwin pushing his idiosyncratic pop talents to heretofore-unexplored territory, with the result being his most sonically ambitious and deliriously melodic album yet. Make sure not to miss him when he plays live in the UK this February.
