Adam Gontier Leaves A Chalk Outline In The Hearts Of His Fans
New York, NY (Top40 Charts) It was announced on January 9, 2013 that Adam Gontier had left "Three Days Grace".Gontier,a 34-year old Canadian musician was the lead singer, rhythm guitarist and main songwriter for the band. The official "Three Days Grace" website stated that Adam left due to a health issue, and it was later specified that it was non life threatening.

In his Facebook post, Gontier vaguely explains his departure and thanks everyone for support. One of the things he said was "I'm not sure what the next horizon will look like, but I do have all the faith in the world that whatever it is, It's meant to be, and I have faith that blessings will continue to shine over all of us." Although touching it may be, it does not satisfy fans all over the world. This news came as a shock and many thousands of people are heartbroken. The forums and fan sites are filled with numerous pleas for Gontier to come back.

Naturally there is much speculation about the actual cause of the diparture, but those are just rumors and we have to rely on facts. And fact is that Adam is going to follow his heart and who knows, maybe he will continue his career as a solo artist and we will hear some more of that magically powerful voice.

Meanwhile "Three Days Grace" will continue to exist.Matt Walst, lead singer of "My Darkest Days",and the brother of Brad Walst will be joining the band as the lead singer for their North American co-headlining tour with Shinedown, starting in Moline, IL on February 1st.

Matt Walst is stepping in the band only temporarily and will then return to "My Darkest Days".

As many fans say today - "Three Days Grace" will never be the same without Adam. It is true, but we do not know what will happen next. Let's hope for the best. This is the end of a great chapter, but it may also be the beginning of something good. Let's show our patience, grace and support for Adam Gontier and the band in whatever they are going to do next.
