Ellie Goulding Announces Winter 2013 Headline Tour
New York, NY (Top40 Charts / Cherrytree/ Interscope) Cherrytree/Interscope recording artist ELLIE GOULDING hits the road this winter for a four week tour commencing Jan. 16th in Miami. The Halcyon Days Tour visits major North American cities before wrapping Feb. 12th in Los Angeles. Pre-sale is underway on Wednesday, October 24 and tickets go on sale to the general public Friday, October 26 on Ellie's official website at https://elliegoulding.com/live-dates/.

"I'm so excited to start touring my new album Halcyon properly," said Goulding. "I'm incredibly proud of this record and the reaction has been over-whelming. Touring and playing shows is my favorite part of what I do, and I really can't wait to get on the road."

The first single, "Anything Could Happen" along with the other tracks from Halcyon was written and co-produced by Goulding. The singer's breakthrough #1 single, "Lights" cleared the path for Halcyon which debuted in the top 10 on the Billboard Top 200 Chart upon its release earlier this month.

Entertainment Weekly called Goulding "exactly the kind of art-pop outsider we like to import from the U.K." and the The New York Times described Halcyon as "a deeply felt swirl of synthesizers, piano and slowly building crescendos." "The hooks always go to town, and her voice mates gorgeously with electronics," raved Rolling Stone.

Halcyon is the follow up to Goulding's full-length debut album, Lights, whichwas the best-selling debut album of 2010 in the UK. The single, "Lights" has sold over 3.4 million copies in the US and topped the Top 40 radio chart for two consecutive weeks at #1.
