Craig Morrison Climbs "fFences," Prepares For Busy Touring Season Abroad
Nashville, Tenn. (Top40 Charts/ Aristo PR) As his current single suggests, Australian-born singer-songwriter Craig Morrison is an artist skilled at overcoming obstacles, particularly in the highly competitive Country music industry.

While his U.S. debut "Fences" maintains its steady push up the national MusicRow chart, Morrison is preparing for a busy start to 2013, highlighted by several major festival appearances in the next six months and the pending release of a new holiday single.

On Nov. 15, Morrison is releasing "Santa Claus Boogie" to U.S. Country radio, marking the singer's first seasonal single in the States. Morrison is currently maintaining a career in both the U.S. and his native Australia, where his "Just Another Sundown" single went to No. 4 on the Australian charts earlier this year.

Morrison's first quarter schedule of 2013 features a three-week tour in Australia, including a high-profile appearance on Sunday, March 17, at the prestigious CMC Rocks The Hunter Festival. The Sydney native will share the stage with stars from the U.S. and abroad, including Rascal Flatts, Chris Young, Billy Ray Cyrus, The Band Perry, Adam Brand, Dean Brody, Corb Lund and Catherine Britt, among others. Other Australian appearances include dates at the Central Coast Music Festival (March 9-10) and the Country in the Snowy's festival in Thredbo (March 22-23).

In April, Morrison will make multiple stops in France, including a performance at the Plouha Festival on Saturday, April 20. Fans can visit www.CraigMorrisonMusic.com for the most current list of dates as they are added.

"Craig Morrison is one of those artists that has a vocal presence and a clear love of his music that sets him apart from so many other young artists trying to forge out a career in Country music today," says Paris-based Tony Taylor, International Artistic Director, Dreamwest Magazine and Web TV. "I truly believe that he falls into the Keith Urban category of performer, not because they both happen to be from Australia, but because like Keith, Craig has a great voice, is a great musician, and when playing live, really expresses his joy at having an audience to play to."

The recent summer in the States was a particularly busy one for Morrison, visiting radio stations across the country, performing at CMA Music Festival and making personal appearances for one of his favorite local Nashville charities, "Musicians On Call."

Morrison's self-titled 2012 album was produced by Grammy-nominated record producer Mark Moffatt and released through Lucky 53s/GMV Nashville (www.GMVNashville.com). It is available at all major digital retailers, including iTunes and Amazon.com.
