Reverend Peyton's Big Damn Band "Between The Ditches" Hits The Americana Radio Charts! November Dates Announced
CHICAGO, IL. (Top40 Charts/ Western Publicity) Reverend Peyton's Big Damn Band have been barnstorming around the country on a 3 month tour in support of "Between the Ditches and it looks like their hard work has paid off. It's first week, the album landed at #2 on the Billboard Blues Chart, #135 on the Current Top 200. On release day, "Between the Ditches" debuted at #1 on the iTunes blues charts as well. This week the album landed on the Americana Chart at #48, with growing support from roots music loving radio stations everywhere. The band continues their 3 month international tour - today they announce their November dates.

AllMusic had this to say about the band, "These guys are a hillbilly blues throwback ensemble, though, and no amount of refinement can really push them off their mark. Peyton's voice still croaks, shouts, and roars, and his unique, kinetic slide guitar playing, whether it's a '30s National guitar, a cigar-box guitar, a Gibson flattop 1929 L2, or an Airline Map electric guitar, still drives and churns like a runaway train."

The new video for "Devils Look Like Angels" has a demonic theme. "I thought it would be funny to have a little girl with my voice. Plus, it shows that sometimes mean things can come in pretty packages. You just never can tell," the Reverend Peyton says about the video. Directed by Kevin Custer (the Gaslight Anthem, Lil Wayne, Hatebreed) and shot in Bloomington, IN, the band's 8 year old fan Elsie McNulty cleverly depicts the true lyrical essence behind the song.
