Depeche Mode and the atmosphere of the Victorian England, SchmetterLynx makes electronic psychedelic music with elements of gothic and classic music. Having been influenced by a shamans rituals, a Voodoo, a magical and spiritual things, SchmetterLynx adds an ancient sound and a shadows of the darkness, gloomy contralto sings about mysticism and secrets of a life and death. Fairy likes 1920s, an epoch of Decadence, a strange musical decisions. And SchmetterLynx add to her more than unusual music a tinges of madness, noisy sound of a gramophone, an interesting experiments with a voice.

In 2009 SchmetterLynx released a single "
Solitude" that public has apprehended with some mistrust. The unusual sound, an unexpected arrangements, an unpredictable harmony and unusual voice have seemed to people the strange. Some time later SchmetterLynx was heard by many responses about their music — people liked a new genre of the art, and they were pulling to the Fairy and her team.
Musicians been got many invitations to a festivals and concerts, but they plays only solo gigs in Romania.
In 2010 SchmetterLynx released album "
Mirrors" which has very quickly extended across Romania. The versatile songs, interesting musical decisions and beautiful Royal Lynx Schmetterling's voice has involved even more attention to the band. If earlier, SchmetterLynx's music was available on disks only, now it is possible to listen to it in the
Internet and even to download. Since 2010 the band successfully goes on tours outside of Romania.
