Blue Pie Gets Metrofied With Metro4's Album Release "Day One"
New York, NY (Top40 Charts/ Blue Pie Records) The follow-up album to what had Metro4 opening for such acts as Stone Temple Pilots, Our Lady Peace, 54-40, The Trews, Sloan and more, will be released on Blue Pie from the 1st of May 2012.

After 8 months of working with esteemed audio engineer Siegfried Meier, Juno winning mixing engineer Dan Brodbeck, and New York's mastering engineer Duncan Stanbury, Metro4's second album entitled "Day One", is anticipated to attract industry interest. With slight adjustments to the original Metro4 lineup, this album proves the band has finally found its chemistry.

While demonstrating an elevation in musicianship, "Day One" also offers a collection of carefully crafted songs with the power to reach listeners of all types.

Drawing on influences from bands such as Coldplay, Snow Patrol, Keane, and Goo Goo Dolls, the album displays a sound that is both Universal and original.

"It's definitely a distinct sound. A lot of people that have heard our music say there's a kind of European influence to it, but you can't really pinpoint what that is", says vocalist Jason Mercer who uses 'alternative' as a label for Metro4's sound. "It's not just straightforward rock."

The first single is projected to be "Going Under", which is due to hit radio stations across the nation in early with a new and energized push from the Blue Pie Radio Team from 1st May 2012.

Metro4 Are:
· Daniel Di Febo: guitars
· Ryan Kriz: percussion
· Jason Mercer: vocals/guitars
· Danny Dubé: bass
