Joan Osborne Announces West Coast Tour Dates
Fairfax, VA (Top40 Charts/ Webster & Associates) Joan Osborne will continue her North American tour with a series of west coast concerts in May in support of her newest album, Bring It On Home. Osborne will perform at a number of festivals as well as solo concerts before returning to the east coast for the next leg of the tour. Her critically-lauded collection of vintage blues and R&B songs landed in Amazon's Top 20 shortly after its release on March 27th and will be available in high definition format on May 8th, making it the only version in 24 bit for audiophiles who demand ultra-high resolution sound quality

The accolades for Bring it on Home continue to pour in. Newsday called it a "collection of soul and R&B covers (that) hits a vocal sweet spot in her alto range, with her lilts and rasp playing to perfection against a backdrop of rousing horns and bubbly piano." Bill Withers, who wrote "Same Love That Made Me Laugh," heard her version and said, "How flattered I am that Joan Osborne chose to record one of my songs. Joan has one of those voices and knows what to do with it. She can just flat out sing anything." Allen Toussaint performed on his own "Shoorah Shoorah" with Osborne and added, "It was great to hear the song, and Joan performed it with great care. It was a wonderful and musical experience."

Joan Osborne has sold millions of albums and garnered multiple Grammy nominations throughout her critically and commercially acclaimed career. In addition to her own headlining tours, she has sung lead vocals for The Dead (formerly the Grateful Dead) and won a Grammy for her performance in the award-winning film Standing In The Shadows of Motown.
