NASHVILLE, TN. (Top40 Charts/ John Maison Official Website) Singer-songwriter John Maison wrapped filming this week for the video of his debut single, Fast Enough. The video, shot in Old town Helena Alabama, near Birmingham.
"It was great to work with director Kristopher Kimlin again!" said John. "We left everything in his hands with total control and him and his team really made everything happen."
"The truck in the video was almost too authentic" John continued jokingly, "considering it literally broke down three times over the two full days of actual shooting!"
Fast Enough is a kickin' country tune that combines a catchy chorus with a sweet sentiment. It tells the story of a man who can't wait to see his special lady again and won't let anything stand in his way. It's a fun take on a modern day love song.
As a songwriter and performer, John sticks to what he knows, always relating lyrics to his life and his experiences. "If you listen to enough of my music, you can tell what type of life I lead," says John. With the help of growing radio play on several Michigan radio stations, along with national exposure from GAC television, John is developing a large following. But there is more to this guy than just the music. This smart-cookie graduated with a degree in Finance from Michigan State University and also received his MBA from Walsh College. Throughout college, John would write and store all of his songs into a Coca-Cola piggy bank and now, it looks like all that "saving up" has paid off!
