New York, NY (Top40 Charts/ John Maison Official Website) John Maison, the Michigan native and country-rock newcomer with a fresh take on a traditional sound, wowed the crowed at Camp Casey Fest on October 15 where he performed his new single Fast Enough at the event in downtown Ferndale, MI just days after the debut track dropped to radio.
In fact, the single has held the No. 2 download spot on the Play MPE charts from All
Access two weeks running. Jack Shell at 99.5 WYCD, Detroit's #1 for Country
Music Radio, said it was "…a terrific song!"
His colleague Sean Tabler concurs. "Fast Enough is a hit. I've heard thousands and thousands of songs in my career and you just know when you hear a big one. This is a fun, relatable tune with such a fantastic hook," said the on-air personality.
Fast Enough is a kickin' country tune that combines a catchy chorus with a sweet sentiment.
The song tells the story of a man who can't wait to see his special lady and won't let anything stand in his way. It's a fun take on a modern day love song. "I love this song and the message it sends. It's an upbeat, catchy song that I think listeners will love singing along to," said John.
Indeed, attendees of Camp Casey Fest, the annual fundraiser that raises money for Camp Casey, a horseback riding program for kids with cancer, were enthralled with the singer-songwriter's high-octane performance! Looks like John and his new single already have an avid following.
As a songwriter and performer, John sticks to what he knows, always relating lyrics to his life and his experiences. "If you listen to enough of my music, you can tell what type of life I lead," says John. With the help of growing radio play on several Michigan radio stations, along with national exposure from GAC television, John is developing a large following. But there is more to this guy than just the music. This smart-cookie graduated with a degree in Finance from Michigan
State University and also received his MBA from Walsh College. Throughout college, John would write and store all of his songs into a Coca-Cola piggy bank and now, it looks like all that "saving up" has paid off!
