Joel Warren Offers Powerful Song As Free Download Throughout Domestic Violence Month
New York, NY (Top40 Charts/ PLA Media) Texas chart climber, Joel Warren extends a helping hand to Bridges Domestic Violence Center by offering a free song on his website and donating a portion of proceeds from his critically acclaimed album Straight Up Country in honor of Domestic Violence month. God Fearin' Man, an emotive, powerful song examining the effects of domestic violence, will be available as a free download exclusively at www.joelwarrencountry.com throughout October.

"I feel very strongly about the message behind this amazing song and feel that it is one that needs to be heard," says Joel.

The numbers speak for themselves as nearly 25% or one in four individuals has experienced domestic violence in her or his lifetime. Nearly 75% of Americans also know someone who is or has been a victim of domestic violence.

"The song depicts the heart and soul of why women of faith stay in domestic violence relationships," says Linda Jackson, Executive Director of Bridges Domestic Violence Center. Bridges Domestic Violence Center serves women, men, and their children affected by domestic violence, ensuring a safe transition to successful independent living through education, intervention, and case management. For more information on Bridges, visit https://bridgesdvc.org/.

Joel's passion for singing began with impersonations of Elvis when he was about five or six years old. From there, he moved onto singing contests and open mic nights while transitioning from his home state of Nebraska to Texas. Along the way, he's honed his songwriting, taught himself to play guitar, released two albums, shot his debut music video and continues to front a five piece band. To date, he's been profiled in Country Weekly and had his debut video featured on CMT and GACTV.com. His current single Straight Up Country is climbing at 37 on the Texas Music Chart, 31 on Texas Regional Radio Report and 75 on Music Row. He recently stopped at stations across Alabama, Arkansas, Tennessee and Texas and was heard on syndicated programs Country HitMakers and New Music Nashville. Joel Warren has progressed a great deal in a very short time, while still remaining true to his country roots. To stay updated on Joel and download this track, visit www.joelwarrencountry.com.
