Taylor Swift Named Billboard's Woman Of The Year!
NEW YORK (Top40 Charts) Country crooner Taylor Swift has now been chosen to receive the Woman of the Year award at the 2011 Billboard Women In Music event set for Dec. 2 in New York City.

The 'Should've Said No' songstress is the youngest lady to win the award and will receive the trophy at Billboard's Woman in Music event on December 2nd at Capitale in New York City. One of the many reasons Taylor was the obvious choice for the honor is that she sold more albums this year than any other artist.

Taylor Swift joins the ranks of past winners like Beyonce Knowles and Stacy 'Fergie' Ferguson from the Black Eyed Peas.

The country star embarked on the Speak Now World Tour, which is still making plenty of stops around the country.
The 'Sparks Fly' singer's hard work never goes unnoticed, as she is also currently nominated for six 2011 CMA awards, including Entertainer Of the Year. In addition, she's planning to release her Speak Now Tour to CD/DVD and CD/Blu-ray in November. Swift also became the youngest winner of the Album of the Year Grammy for Fearless in 2010. She has also collected numerous awards from the Academy of Country Music, Country Music Association and American Music Awards.
Taylor's third album, 'Speak Now,' arrived last October and sold more than a million copies in its opening week.
