Cumberland River Welcomes Brad Gulley To The Line-up
Nashville, TN. (Top40 Charts/ Rural Rhythm Records) CUMBERLAND RIVER is proud to announce the addition of Brad Gulley on guitar and vocals to the band. This hot new group continues to impress audiences with several strong lead vocalists including the talents of Dustin Middleton who provides lead vocals on his original song "Harlan Man" that debuted this month on Bluegrass Music Profiles Top 30 Hot Singles Chart. James Dean provides lead on his original song and the band's first single, "Cold & Withered Heart" along with a new video that is currently the No 1 bluegrass video on Yallwire.com. Both songs appear on the group's new album THE LIFE WE LIVE on Rural Rhythm Records.

Brad Gulley was born and raised in the east Tennessee mountains. His father, Steve Gulley (who also produced CUMBERLAND RIVER'S album THE LIFE WE LIVE) and grandfather, Don paved the way for Brad as he grew up in the shadow of the old barn in Renfro Valley, KY watching them perform. His early indoctrination into bluegrass music instilled a passion that burns brighter than ever today. Brad brings that passion, along with great singing, songwriting, and instrumental talents to the latest chapter in his musical career as he joins CUMBERLAND RIVER. His soaring tenor and high lead vocals are sure to catch your attention and stir your emotions as well as help to define the signature sound for this cutting edge bluegrass band. "I couldn't be happier or more excited to be a part of such a great group of people and musicians," said Gulley.

Last week, CUMBERLAND RIVER made quite an impression during the International Bluegrass Music Association's World of Bluegrass held in Nashville, TN. The band was chosen this year as an Official Showcase performer, and also performed numerous other times during the weeklong event including: Ernest Tubb Record Shop on Broadway, Rural Rhythm After Hours Showcase, the South Florida Bluegrass Association's After Hours Showcase and more. The band also held meet n' greets at their booth in the Exhibit Hall of the Nashville Convention Center where they met with radio djs, talent buyers and fans.

Gulley joins band members: James Dean (banjo, lead & harmony vocals); Dustin Middleton (mandolin, lead & harmony vocals); Joey Jones (bass); Jamie Stewart (Dobro).
