New York, NY (Top40 Charts/ Shore Fire Media) Umphrey's McGee, one of the most innovative and audacious live bands of the 21st century, will take the stage at Brooklyn Bowl for a four-night run from Tuesday,
September 6 to Friday,
September 9. The shows will highlight songs from the band's new album 'Death By Stereo' (ATO,
September 13) including the high-voltage first single "Miami Virtue."
"This is an album that goes in a lot of different directions very quickly," keyboardist Joel Cummins said. "We really tried to get a lot into these songs in a short amount of time."

The dynamic, Chicago-based Umphrey's, whom Associated Press said "pulls off the trans-genre trick without a hitch," will perform two sets of their trademark blend of tightly-constructed compositions and freewheeling improvisation each of the four nights. Along with new material, the band will highlight a wide range of past favorites, rarities, covers, and surprise mash-ups, which may include Tears for Fears' "Everybody Wants to Rule the World," Toto's "Africa," or Michael Jackson's "Thriller."
