Chicago's Great Divide To Play North Coast Music Festival
Chicago, IL (Top40 Charts/ Great Divide Official Website) Originally hailing from Ann Arbor, Michigan and now based out of Chicago, roots rockers Great Divide are becoming a staple on the windy city's festival scene. Last year, the band was featured on the third annual Chicago Bluegrass and Blues Festival alongside Edward Sharpe and the Magnetic Zeroes and Grace Potter and the Nocturnals. This year, Great Divide has the distinction of being among a handful of Chicago acts performing at the second annual North Coast Music Festival, Sept. 2-4 at Union Park.

Great Divide made their recorded debut with 2010's self-released "Reservoir," which earned favorable reviews from Festival Crashers, Here Comes the Flood and Performer Magazine. The group's bold mix of rock, blues, funk and soul has been embraced by JamBase and Chicago Jam Scene.

Great Divide's North Coast slot is at 1:30 PM on Sunday, September 4, the final day of the festival. Other highlights from this year's NCMF include popular DJs David Guetta and Fat Boy Slim, rappers Common and Wiz Khalifa, indie rock bands Gogol Bordello and Of Montreal and fellow Chicago groups Van Ghost and California Wives.
