Billboard's Mike Gionet called Steff Mahan's mix of rock, roots, folk, and country "an entertaining can't-miss performance." With a voice that is pure and powerful and lyrics that are heart-crafted and rock-solid, it's hard not to get hooked on the emotional truth that comes out of this born songwriter's mouth.
Colorado Spring's Independent declared, "Steff Mahan has a gift for writing songs that sneak up on you and, before you know it, get you teary-eyed."
Nashville's City Paper says Steff is "simply a wicked cool singer/songwriter."
The Nashville Rage says her "heartfelt delivery has a charm all its own."
Colby's Army, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, educates and offers support in the areas of mental illness, addiction, conservation of the Earth's natural resources, and the welfare of animals. It was founded in memory of musician and songwriter Colby Keegan, who became homeless while battling mental illness and addiction. Colby wanted to leave the world a better place than he found it and his "army" is now doing just that.
Here's how it works: Bring one of the following donation items to Steff's show and get a big thank you and a nice pat on the back for your good deed! New or gently used backpacks, new supplies to fill the backpacks such as socks, stocking caps, gloves, washcloths, toothpaste, toothbrushes, shoelaces, soap, shampoo, conditioner, chapstick, hand lotion, sunscreen, nail clippers, foot powder, band-aids, granola bars, plastic bags of all sizes, sunglasses, ballcaps, combs, hairbrushes, watches, car/auto coffee mugs with tops (or bicycle water bottles), etc.
Stocked backpacks will be distributed to homeless men, women, and families in Nashville.
