New York, NY (Top40 Charts/ Shore Fire Media) Okkervil River has confirmed additional North American and European tour dates following the success of their latest album, 'I Am Very Far' (JAGJAGUWAR), including shows with the
Decemberists Aug 22 in Seattle, Aug 23 in Vancouver and Aug 25 and 26 in Portland, OR.
New York Magazine called 'I Am Very Far' Okkervil's "most visceral to date" and Spin proclaimed it "simultaneously raw and symphonic," while Pitchfork declared bandleader Will Sheff "one of indie rock's most ambitious thinkers."
On August 2, Jagjaguwar will release a new Okkervil River 7" featuring "Your Past Life as a Blast," the third single off of 'I Am Very Far.'
