Her vocal performance is evocative and inspired, and at 74 she continues to prove that she possesses vocal allure, depth and grace. 2011 is gearing up to be Elli's breakout year. With touring in support of Songs Spun of Gold, and several stage and TV acting roles, Elli Fordyce is a tireless and talented pro. She continues to entrance audiences with her superior interpretive skills and innate ability to inhabit a song with consummate ease.
"Fordyce is someone to behold to the listening ear. It is hard to imagine she is 73 years-old. Her voice is timeless."-The Daily Sun News

Songs Spun of Gold reveals new perspectives on familiar material and shines an elegant light on lesser known songs of the classic Jazz repertoire. It's a sure thing for an intimate evening or a sophisticated social gathering, but seeing this engaging and subtle performer in-person demonstrates just how transcendent a live performance can be. In the meantime, visit Elli on her website at www.ellifordyce.net and be sure to treat yourself to the ravishing sounds of Something Still Cool, along with her latest remarkably compelling release Songs Spun of Gold.
