Julian Casablancas Pays Tribute To Buddy Holly On 'Rave On'

LOS ANGELES (Top40 Charts) We've already heard the Black Keys and Modest Mouse do their Buddy Holly covers for the upcoming Rave On Buddy Holly tribute, but now we have an offering from arguably the suavest guy on there with Julian Casablancas' take on "Rave On."

Here, the rock song is transformed into a synth heavy lo-fi jam, falling somewhere between the sounds of Casablancas' day job in the Strokes and Canadian synth indie rockers Handsome Furs.
