Sinem Saniye To Play Sullivan Hall In NYC On June 1, 2011
Fort Lauderdale, FL (Top40 Charts/ MT Press) Pop Jazz starlet Sinem Saniye will be bringing her sensual songwriting and performance to Sullivan Hall in New York City on Wednesday June 1st at 9pm.

With humble beginnings, Sinem, began writing songs on the piano by the age of 5. As she focused on playing guitar by the age of 20 she began her meteoric rise in the Pop/Bossa Nova Jazz genre. After performing to a packed audience at the prestigious Hotel Cafe in Los Angeles to raise funds for Red Cross Japan, and completing her first solo feat US tour in 2010, opening for Grammy nominated artist Lisa Loeb and appearing on MTV Europe, pop singer/songwriter starlet Sinem Saniye returns to Sullivan Hall in NYC on Wednesday June 1st.

Sinem's unique bossa nova and jazz infused pop sound continues to prove her qualities as an award winning songwriter and defies easy genre classification. Her array of awards include the 2006 Grand Prize in the extremely high profile annual International John Lennon Songwriting Competition. Sinem has played to packed audiences in prestigious New York venues such as The Bitter End, CBGB's Gallery, The Triad Theatre, and even the United Nations. Her rising musical career has taken her to London, Istanbul, Bodrum, Turkey, Athens, and Greece. Sinem has also been featured on various TV shows like The Turkish Hour, Swept-Away TV, and Voice of America TV, and recently appeared on the compilation CD "Songs Of Love For Japan" with Tori Amos, Ani DiFranco, Sarah McLaughlin, and Sara Bareilles, which raised $16,000, in just 4 days for Japan relief efforts.

Her latest single 'I'll Confide' from her debut album 'When I Don't Sleep..' delivers a captivating sweet vulnerability. The album was produced by Grammy-award-winning producer Henri Scars Struck (Shakira, Madonna). Sinem guarantees an enticing performance filled with compelling lyrics and outstanding melodies.

She will take the stage at Sullivan Hall at 9:00 PM. Sullivan Hall is located at 214 Sullivan Street (3rd- Bleecker St.) New York, NY
