The Low Anthem And Iron And Wine Celebrate Record Store Day (A Month Later) With The Release Of Daytrotter Sessions On Vinyl, May 17
New York, NY (Top40 Charts/ Shore Fire Media) On May 17, The Low Anthem and Iron and Wine will release their Daytrotter Sessions as a limited edition split 12" vinyl. The LP, limited to 1000 copies, is being sold exclusively through "mom and pop" record stores, with a few copies being available through the Daytrotter website and via the bands' websites. This will be the first ever vinyl release to feature a full Daytrotter Session and is being issued as a joint venture between The Low Anthem, Iron and Wine and Daytrotter.

The two bands got to know each other on the road earlier this year, when Iron and Wine frontman Sam Beam invited The Low Anthem to open their US tour, which continues through April 27. Beam raved about the band's live show in a recent interview, saying "We played some shows in the U. K. together and I thought they were great. Last time I saw them, [Ben] started doing his feedback loop with his cell phone and the whole crowd. It was beautiful. They're just fun to watch. And their music's great."

The Low Anthem's side of the LP features live performance of six songs from their acclaimed new album 'Smart Flesh,' which Daytrotter proclaimed is "without question a contender for album of the year."

The split LP will be available via https://www.thelowanthem.com and https://www.ironandwine.com as well as select indie retailers and through https://www.daytrotter.com.
