Jazz Vocalist/recording Artist Jerry Costanzo Live At Feinstein's At The Regency
New York, NY (Top40 Charts/ Redwood Entertainment) In celebration of his new CD, Can't We Be Friend's? released on Daywood Drive Records, Jerry Costanzo will be performing live at Feinstein's at Loew's Regency on Park Avenue in Manhattan on Monday, May 9, 2011, at 8:30 PM.

As a follow-up to his most recent successful CD, Destination Moon, Jerry Costanzo who has coined the phrase "Bringing the American Songbook into the 21st Century", is releasing his newest CD, Can't We Be Friends? In his performance at the Feinstein's, Jerry will be performing songs from Can't We Be Friends? along with his sextet of world-class Jazz veterans, Andy Farber, Sax & flute; Mike Carubia, Trumpet; Isaac Ben Ayala, Piano; Mark Sherman, Vibraphone; Joe Cohn, Guitar; Ben Wolfe, Bass; and Jimmy Madison on Drums.

"Costanzo is not a clone of Cole, Sinatra or any of those icons. His voice is smooth but has a slight gravelly quality. As all great singers do, he tells a story. . . Costanzo wows."-Walter Kolosky, Jazz.com

Jerry also leads his own big band and smaller jazz ensembles, along with musical director Andy Farber, and has worked with and continues to work with the best jazz musicians in the business such as: Steve Ash, Tedd Firth, Neal Miner, Joe Cohn, Dave Glasser, Mike LeDonne, Jerry Weldon, Ralph Lalama, Mark Sherman, Ben Wolfe, Jimmy Madison, Alvestor Garnett, Hilary Kole, to name but a few.

"The divas have been getting all the attention the last few years but here's a cat that knows how to swing it 50s style and could give Steve Tyrell a few pointers on how to sharpen it up to get his groove back. Costanzo and his swinging pals know how to grab the Vegas vibe that most of us have heard about but never were old enough to really experience. It's not a time piece, just a good time that doesn't try to recreate, but exists in its own place bringing some authenticity along for the ride. . ." -Chris Spector, Publisher & Editor, Midwest Record

"Jerry Costanzo delivers a song with a loving nod back to the Rat Pack."-Mark Seleski, Jazz.com
