Country Newcomer Kori Jean Olsen Makes A Splash At CRS 2011
Nashville, Tennessee (Top40 Charts/ Kori Jean Olsen Official Website) Aspiring country recording artist and vocal powerhouse Kori Jean Olsen attended her very first Country Radio Seminar last week where she made the rounds, impressing some of the industry's most influential players.

"Kori Jean has such a fantastic personality!" said Sheyla Paz Hicks, owner/executive producer of Entertainment Circle, Spanish TV/Paz Communications, Inc. "I love her smile and I can't wait to hear her new album. She is definitely a fun person to be around!"

In addition to participating in media interviews at the annual industry event, Kori Jean also posed for a slew of photos, dropped by hospitality rooms, attended numerous showcases around town and lended her hand to Operation Troop Aid where she signed an up-for-auction guitar to benefit U.S. troops. She also took part in the "Make a Muscle, Make a Difference" campaign for the Muscular Dystrophy Association (MDA).

"This experience was so great!" said Kori Jean. "I got to meet a lot of amazing people who were really interested in my music, which was very encouraging for me as a newcomer to the industry. To tell the truth, I'm a little sad it's over!"

Lucky for her, she doesn't have time to be sad for long. Keeping her plenty busy these days is the imminent release of her upcoming album which Kori Jean has been busy recording since the first of the year. Set to drop sometime at the end of this month, the effervescent singer feels that this work truly represents her as an artist. "I've put a lot of hard work into this album and listened to thousands of songs to choose just the right ones. I'm really proud of it!"

Kori Jean began her journey as a singer at the age of 9 when she started taking vocal lessons and playing piano in her hometown of Provo, Utah. Her commanding voice and nuanced vocal styling clearly comes through when you hear her music. Citing influences like Carrie Underwood, Martina McBride and Sugarland, this spunky songstress manages to capture a message of loyalty and love with passion and intensity.
