"Are You Gonna Kiss Me Or Not" RIAA Certified Gold

If it's hip to be square then husband/wife duo Thompson Square are in good shape. -(Melissa Coker)

According to their site, their hit single "Are You Gonna Kiss Me Or Not" is currently No 7 on the country radio charts. This Friday, March 4, they will perform on The Tonight Show with Jay Leno.

Keifer and Shawna also have the biggest album debut of 2011 for a new Country artist, scanning over 30K units in their first week. Additionally, their breakout single, "Are You Gonna Kiss Me Or Not," which is currently No 3 on Soundscan's Top Country Digital Singles chart, has also been Certified Gold by the RIAA this week, signifying sales of over 500K units.

Writing 9 out of the 12 tracks on their self-titled debut, Thompson Square has captured the hearts of fans nationwide and earned glowing praises from critics who said the album and its songs are "forceful and direct" (Washington Post) and "genuinely affectionate" (USA Today).
