Memphis, TN (Top40 Charts/ The Beckwith Company) - Edison Pena, the recently freed Chilean miner who became known around the world as a major Elvis fan, will be a special guest at Graceland in Memphis, Tenn., during Elvis Presley's annual birthday celebration January 6-9, 2011. Every year hundreds of fans from around the world visit Graceland for the four days of special birthday celebrations. This year will be uniquely special with Pena's attendance. As a major Elvis fan, Pena helped keep morale high by leading Elvis sing-a-longs as he and 32 fellow miners were trapped 22,000 feet below ground.

Following are some of the key activities planned:

		Friday, January 7, 2011
		9:00 a.m. - 10:00 a.m.
		EDISON PEnA TOURS GRACELAND
		Pena will tour Graceland for the first time at 9:00 a.m. Highlight footage of his tour will be available via both a pool camera system, as well as on the ftp site listed below. Immediately following the tour at 10:00 a.m., he will be available for pre-arranged one-on-one interviews on the mansion grounds. A translator will be provided.

		6:00 p.m. - 9:00 p.m.
		ELVIS INSIDERS RECEPTION AND GRACELAND TOUR
		A private evening tour of Graceland Mansion in all its holiday splendor and a reception in Graceland Plaza exclusively for members of the Elvis Insiders. Special guests for the event will be Julie Adams who costarred with Elvis in "Tickle Me,"Larry Domasin costar in "Fun in Acapulco," Jennifer Holden costar in "Jailhouse Rock," and Elvis' personal jeweler,Lowell Hays. As has become tradition, just for the dates of the Elvis Birthday Celebration, special Elvis exhibits from the Graceland Archives will be in place inside the residential area of the mansion.

		ELVIS PRESLEY DAY CEREMONY
		ON THE FRONT LAWN OF GRACELAND
		The traditional ceremony with Memphis and Shelby County officials, Edison Pena and Graceland/EPE representatives featuring a birthday cake cutting and a proclamation of Elvis Presley Day.

		CONVERSATIONS ON ELVIS AT THE MEMPHIS MARRIOTT EAST
		Friends, movie costars and bandmates of Elvis will share some of their favorite memories. Special guests for the event will beJulie Adams, Larry Domasin and Jennifer Holden.

		8:00 p.m.
		MEMPHIS SYMPONY ORCHESTRA PRESENTS ELVIS BIRTHDAY POPS at The Cannon Center for the Performing Arts in downtown Memphis
		The king's birthday will be celebrated with the Symphony and Terry Mike Jeffrey and his band performing Elvis' chart-topping hits. Steven Reineke conducts.
