New York, NY (Top40 Charts/ Lisa Vega Group) - Rock music has a new voice and it belongs to Steve Cooke. It only takes one listen to feel the power of his vocals and realize you are listening to something special. Such is the case with Cooke's brand new hit single "Radio," (available on iTunes), which garnered him the Best Male Vocal nomination at the prestigious Hollywood Music and Media Awards (HMMA) on November 18th, 2010, held at the Highlands/Kodak theater.

Word spreads fast in Hollywood, so it's no surprise the industry is buzzing about Cooke. He joined forces with Grammy Award-Winning producer Bob Cutarella to record and remix at two legendary studios -the House of Blues Studio and Paramount Studios - to produce the single "Radio", as well as an additional single and tracks to complete the album of the same name.

"It's been an amazing two weeks and Bob Cutarella is a fantastic producer to work with. He has taken the well crafted songs written by Michael Burtscher and produced them with my voice in a spectacular way and the result is outstanding, a very enjoyable experience." said Cooke.

The week of November 15th promises to be another breakout for the singer extraordinaire. "Radio," hits the airwaves with several stations already on board and production is underway for a mini movie music clip.

Cooke also hopes to repeat his 2009 win at the Hollywood Music In Media Awards this year with a nod for Best Male Vocal for "Radio." On awards night, Steve will be joined by producer Bob Cutarella and Madonna's rhythm section and Cooke's band mates, Steve Sidelnyk and Marcus Brown, who are taking time off from working with Seal to join the festivities.

Steve will wear designer Logan Riese to the HMMA's .Logan Riese has designed for Bon Jovi, Kid Rock, and Dave Navarro, among others and is looking forward to personally dressing Steve for the night..

The LA-based singer/songwriter's dynamic singing can be described as a mixture between Michael Hutchence, Steven Tyler and Robert Plant. His musical style can be described as a marriage of Blues, Hard Rock, Americana, and Acoustic music, topped with heavy choruses. His voice has an indelible effect upon the audience and is resonating a new era of popular music!

Go ahead...as Steve Cooke sings "Turn the radio on!!"
