Nashville, TN (Top40 Charts/ ABC News Radio) - Brad Paisley has been in the studio working on his next album while also getting ready to host the CMA Awards on ABC next Wednesday with Carrie Underwood. Even though his latest single, "Anything Like Me," is still climbing the charts, Paisley tells ABC News Radio he's decided to debut a brand new song from the upcoming album at the awards show. It's called "This Is Country Music," and Paisley really wants his fans to hear the song now. He says, "I wanna sing something new. I think it's time." When he's working on a new project, Paisley says he usually grabs a buddy and plays the new songs for them in his car. With "This Is Country Music," he says, "I'm essentially going to do that on the CMA Awards for 30-something million people, which is really fun." No word yet on when Paisley might release his next studio album, but his new Hits Alive double album just came out last week. It features live and studio versions of his biggest hits, along with "Anything Like Me."
