Trace Adkins will soon travel back to the
Middle East to visit and perform for troops on what will be his third USO/Armed Forces Entertainment tour to the war-torn region.
Dedicated to giving back and extending his gratitude to troops and their families, Adkins stopped by the Walter Reed Army Medical Center in Washington, DC, last month, and spent time with more than two dozen wounded warriors.
During his upcoming USO tour,Adkins will sign autographs, pose for photos and do what he does best... bring country music to life with a stream of insightful lyrics and toe-tapping hits. Note: due to security reasons, the countries and tour dates cannot be released at this time.
A long time supporter of the U.S. military, Adkins has traveled on two USO tours since 2002, performing for more than 7,800 troops stationed in Bahrain, Iraq and Afghanistan.
He has also received numerous military honors in recognition of his patriotism, including the 2007 USO Merit Award, Wounded Warrior Project's (WWP) 2010 Talkhouse Award and the 2010 Medal of Honor from the Daughter's of the American Revolution.
Today, with more than 14 years of making music under his belt, Adkins has gone on to sell more than 10 million records worldwide and chart 28 hit singles.
One of country music's top headlining and in-demand artists today, Adkins has not only achieved reality TV stardom on Donald Trump's "Celebrity Apprentice," but has also dabbled in acting, written a book and even ventured into the comic book world with the launch of LUKE McBAIN, a four-part comic book series.
