Hold Steady continue their 2010 tour behind 'vital piece of wizened wisdom' (Village Voice) 'Heaven Is Whenever,' out now on Vagrant Records, adding dates into November. They'll begin a new leg of dates kicking off
September 20 in Richmond, VA. The band has been on the road for much of 2010, winning raves along the way. The
Santa Barbara Independent said at a recent show the band 'tore through more than an hour's worth of raw, guttural rock 'n' roll with an intensity and tightness that matched most studio rock outfits, packing in hooks, licks, and keyboard scales by the truckload,' while the OC Weekly called another show 'an arena-ready church sermon.'
