Dallas, TX (Top40 Charts/ Shore Fire Media) - Down and dirty garage rockers The Woggles have confirmed tour dates on both coasts this fall, kicking things off September 23 in Anaheim, CA. The band, which signed to Steven Van Zandt's Wicked Cool Records, will also perform two shows with Southern Culture on The Skids in October.

While The Woggles have received critical acclaim for their studio work (Creative Loafing called 'Rock And Roll Backlash' "...new heights of soulful '60s-fueled testifyin'."), they have built their legions of fans on the strength of their blistering live shows. The four members of the band - frontman Mighty Manfred, guitarist Flesh Hammer, drummer Dan Elektro, and bassist Buzz Hagstrom - conjure up a sound that bypasses the brain and goes straight for the hip-bone. As NPR'S All Songs Considered put it, "Go see a Woggles show. It will change your life."

The Village Voice raved that the band puts on "a dance party rave-up that could melt Dick Clark's face off," while The Austin Chronicle proclaimed that The Woggles travel the country "leveling nightclubs with their hip-shaking, windshield-steaming garage rock fusillade."

The Woggles will be releasing a new 7" and digital single for Wicked Cool Records this fall. Stay tuned for more details.
