VSwill take place onSaturday, August 14, 2010, from 2 p.m. to 2 a.m.,with one stage atLa Cita Bar, 336 S. Hill Street, Downtown Los Angeles, as well as a second stage at The Bang Gallery, 354 S. Spring Street, Downtown Los Angeles,providing two main stages, less than two blocks apart.

As the official celebration ofMucho Wednesdays'three year anniversary, the producers behind that groundbreaking Latin music party phenomenon have createdThe Visionary Sounds Music Festivalor "VS" for short (www.visionarysounds.com). The objectives being to foster the growth of young Alternative and bilingual Hispanic talent, as well as to provide safe spaces where young Latino artists can be included in the revitalization process of the down town Los Angeles Arts corridor, while at the same time supporting the local Boyle Heights non-profit organization Proyecto Pastoral.

Musically VS has the pulse of the cutting edge sounds on the Latin, Bilingual music scene in the U.S., Mexico, Central & South America showcasing international as well as national musicians and discovering emerging talent pool of artists performing, creating a safe space for these artists, where they can connect with more fans, and expand their reach by bridging L.A. based acts with other International Latin alternative acts.
